Dr Sandi Mitchell has worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of urban, rural and remote clinical and community settings throughout Canada and Australia focusing on Vulnerable Populations and Indigenous Peoples. She has extensive experience in Education, developing training programs for interdisciplinary healthcare providers while employed at the British Columbia Centre of Disease Control (BCCDC) and on-line courses for the British Columbia Institute of technology (BCIT). She completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, which focused on women living with hepatitis C and their journey to care. She has recently joined NCCRED as a Research Fellow.
