Florence Bascombe

Florence is a Registered Nurse, with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, a Diploma in Tropical Nursing and MSc in Public Health with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. After working in Respiratory and Emergency departments in the UK and Australia, she joined Médecins Sans Frontières; coordinating malaria relief and a measles vaccination campaign in the DRC, and managing a Tuberculosis Hospital in PNG.

An interest in strengthening health systems lead to involvement in the CareTrack Kids study with the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, and a position as HIV Clinical Trials Coordinator at St Vincents Hospital, Sydney, coordinating a number of pharmaceutical and investigator driven trials in HIV and Immunology, before joining the team at NCCRED.
