Drug & Alcohol Research and Innovation Active-Learning

DARIA

DARIA is the Drug and Alcohol Research and Innovation Active-Learning Network.

DARIA is a virtual, weekly seminar program delivered by St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Alcohol and Drug Service (SVHS ADS) and the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) in collaboration with Southern NSW Local Health District,  Murrumbidgee Local Health District, Far West NSW Local Health District, and Western New South Wales Local Health District.

The aim of the series is to promote innovative practice and share learnings and new ideas among clinicians and clinical researchers working in the field of methamphetamine, emerging drugs, and other areas of alcohol and drug health.

There are two types of seminars in the DARIA series: Journal Club, where research papers are reviewed and critiqued by presenters; and Presentations, where research findings are presented.
